Abstract:
How did imperial Russian textbook authors describe Polish-Russian relations? Did they treat them as a manifestation of the eternal rivalry between two state organisms, or did they look at them more positively? Or – maybe – was there no single consistent canon? The text of the following article attempts to fi nd an answer to such a research question based on an extensive source search.
