Abstract:

Nonparametric measures of statistical dependence, such as Spearman’s or Kendall’s , are very convenient when the type of dependence, described by a respective copula, and the type of marginal distributions are unknown. Computation of these statistics becomes difficult when available data are imprecise, and given as intervals of real numbers. In the paper we present the results of the research oriented on the algorithmic problems in the case of the computation of Kendall’s .
