Abstract:

Five Polish-made polymer coatings applicable in bioprocess equipment were tested in respect of their resistance. Resistance of chemically and thermally hardened coatings to a prolonged action of whey under static and dynamic conditions was determined experimentally. On the basis of long-term investigations it was found that the polymer coatings are applicable as anticorrosives in whey only under static conditions.
