Abstract:

Ultrastructural analysis revealed sarcomeres disorganization as well as features of cytolysis in some cardiomyocytes. Numerous lysosomes were present in the sarcoplasm. Cardiomyocyte nuclei were characterized by irregular shape and focally breaks in the nuclear envelope (Figs. 4.5).
