W pracy, omówiono zagadnienie ryzyka rynkowych stóp procentowych na tle ogólnej kategorii ryzyka inwestycyjnego. Przedstawiono również podstawowe pojęcia i wyprowadzenia z zakresu teorii obligacji. Wprowadzono pojęcie struktury terminowej stóp procentowych oraz scharakteryzowano szerzej zagadnienie ryzyka stopy procentowej w ujęciu różnych teorii opisujących dynamikę zmian tej struktury.
