Abstract:An overview of the methods used by the authors of Chapter 5 from a monograph on analysis of the Globular Amphorae culture remains from the Koszyce site 3 (M. Kuś, A. Ossowski 2013) suggests a series of methodological objections. DNA analysis of the same material performed in accordance with generally accepted rigors of ancient DNA research raises doubts about authenticity of the published sequences and their interpretation.
