Abstract:This article presents a spatial distribution of artefacts at Gravettian settlement Pavlov I in south Moravia, Czech Republic. The main aim of this study is ethnoarchaeological approach to this site. It is centred on south-eastern margin of the investigated area. There were uncovered a system of the hearths and settlement unit. Sex-separate working places were found there. The working places are represented with higher frequency of artefacts with traces of use-wear. Heavy industry is more often closed to hearth or shelter
