Abstract:

One new and four known species belonging to the family Tripylidae are described and illustrated. Tripyla koreana sp. nov. is characterized by its small size (L = 0.93–1.06 mm), short outer labial (2–3 μm) and cephalic (1 μm) sensillae, large and wedge shaped dorsal tooth, shape of tail which tapers in anterior part, than becomes cylindrical. Tripyla glomerans Bastian, 1865, Tripyla infia Brzeski et Winiszewska-Śipińska, 1993 and Tripylina arenicola (de Man,1880) were recorded for the first time from the Korean Peninsula.
