Abstract:

Similarity analysis was carried out with use of two techniques, the Ward method and Renkonen method, in order to analyze staphylinid (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae) epigeic communities of the coastal pine forest. This attempt enabled a multilateral spatial description of the coastal pine forest microsite structure including the domination structure of microsites, the degree of their isolation, and the migration impact and edge effect of ecotone zones.
