Photography (scan from a slide). The temple priest of the village Sanosara - the first on the right - with the family. He belongs to caste Gosvami, whose profession is the care and maintenance of the shivaite temple. This type of temples were created in the villages of Gujarat in the late nineteenth century. They were part of the internal colonization of border areas of Hinduism and Islam. In the picture priest (babajis) with his wife and four children.
