Description:

Photography (scan from a slide). The village of shepherds kachchi rabari with preserved traditional huts (bhunga). Cottage built on a circular plan with a wooden pin posed in the middle. The walls are made of clay and thatch roof. In the past, shepherds rabari built their settlements outside the village. The picture shows shrines that are placed outside the village, at which shepherds celebrate night rites. On a separate space on the circle plan was set five stones of Hindu trident signs (trishula), and with them you can see the remains of incense. Each of them refers to a different deity. This is an older form of worship of shepherds. On the right side you can see fragment a rectangular shrine, often encountered in shepherds. On the ground lie the remains of earthen pitchers and colorful fabrics - remains of the celebrated rituals
