Opis:

Photography (scan from a slide). The village of shepherds kachchi rabari with preserved traditional huts (bhunga). Cottage are built on a circular plan with a wooden pin posed in the middle. The walls are made of clay and has thatch roof. In the past, the shepherds rabari built their settlements outside the village. The picture shows shrines which are put outside the village, at which the shepherds celebrate the night ceremonies. There are two forms of construction - a more contemporary design is rectangular in shape, and on the right elderly on the circle from with stones set. Hindu trident signs (trishula) appear on both. Moreover visible are stones or figurines, each of which refers to a different deity. Colorful flags indicate nocturnal ceremonies
