Abstract:

The aim of the article is to examine the evaluation of the efficiency of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine and the European Union using the determinants of effectiveness, economy and functional organisation, which reflect the need for extended reproduction of final consumption and food security. Efficiency is assessed on the basis of the ratio of the required and achieved results, the economy and the processes of obtaining them, and the degree of use of the principles of functional organisation as a potential for sustainable reproduction and improvement of results. In this case, the systemic efficiency of agricultural enterprises reflects the results of meeting the needs and expectations of stakeholders – consumers, co-workers and local communities. When reproducing positive results, the specificity of the law of value in the agricultural sector should be considered; consistency and compliance of different types of capital and assets is achieved through the application of the principles of functional organization. This allows for the identification of factors of regulatory influence on the reproduction of the efficiency of agricultural enterprises.
