Abstract:

The article deals with the problems of multifunctionality of farms. Skilful comt nation of production functions with social, cultural and environmental functions leads to tl development of farms expressed not only in the income and personal categories but also the categories of common good. The development of multifunctional character of farms is based on the use of resources linked to agricultural and rural environment (human and social capital included) and is expressed through the launching of new types of agricultural and non-agricultural activities which, however, are linked to the operation of farms.
