The influence of a mosaic of forest habitats on ecological differentiating of a population of Clethrionomys glareolus (Schreber, 1780) was investigated. The study was carried out between 1977 and 1979 close to the town of Mikołajki (Mazurian Lake Region, Poland), in adjoining alderwood, pine wood, willow brushwood and ash thicket areas using the CMR method.
