Abstract:
On the basis of literaturę data, old materials from the collection of the Museun and Institute of Zoology, and new materials collected by the authors 7 species of Strepsipteri represented of three families have been recorded from Poland: Halictophagus agalliae (Halictophagidae), Elenchus tenuicornis (Elenchidae), and Halictoxenos spencei, H. tumulorum, Paiaxenos sphecidarum, Pseudoxenos heydenii, and Stylops melittae (Stylopidae). The collectioi localities of all species are presented at maps. Some of specimens are presented on the photcs. Four species (Stenocranophilus anomalocerus, Crawfordia labiata, Eurystyóps oenipon- tcina, and Hylecthrus rubi) are deleted from the list of the Polish fauna. They were erronously mentioned as living contemporarily in Poland on the basis of findings in the localities occur- ring today in Ukrainę or Belorussia. They are only 5 adult males in materials examinated, all belonging to the species Elenchus tenuicornis. Four of them were collected by Malaise trap, the fifth specimen was reared from a Delphacid host. Remaining materials studied were stylopised specimens of Hcmoptera and Hymenoptera with extemally visible parts of parasifs body, mainly the cephaothoraces of females. Cephalothecae or puparia of males were less abundant. There were found also the First instar larvae emerged from one neotenic female of Paraxenos sphecidarum(fig. 2). All host species are identified and noted. Andrena (Euandrena) fulvidci is c new host of Stylops melittae. Halictophagus agalliae is a new species for the fauna of Poland.
