Na kolekcjach czaszek piżmaków, O. zibethica z czterech środkowoeuropejskich populacji (n=352) zbadano wpływ dymorfizmu płciowego i miejsca pochodzenia zwierząt na wymiary (Ryc. 1) i proporcje czaszki. Badano także związki korelacyjne wymiarów czaszki w aspekcie wiekowym i populacyjnym.
