The photo depicts a young couple standing next to a tall wooden fence; behind the fence there is some lush greenery. The woman is dressed in a modest, black dress and a very long tulle veil pinned on her head with a garland. The man is dressed in a well-fitted black frock-coat, a white shirt and dark trousers; he is holding a hat in his left hand and a small flower bouquet in his right hand. According to the photo's owner, it depicts the wedding of Augustyn and Agnieszka (...) - her grandmother’s (on her mother's side) sister with husband. The photo was taken in 1928 in the place of their residence - in the village of Przemęt, Leszno voivodeship ; 1928, Przemęt, leszczyńskie voivodeship ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
