Abstract:

In the paper we analyze influence of implementation of the greenhouse gas emission permit scheme on change of technology. Two technologies are considered. One is emitting mare but is cheaper. Another is mare expensive but emits less. Results of numerical simulations using a macroeconomic model and optima! choice are presented. Dependence of solutions on permit price and length of the decision horizon is discussed.
