Abstract:

We propose the use of intuitionistic fuzzy sets as a tool for reasoning under imperfect facts and imprecise knowledge. We consider two issues for solution group decision problem in medical diagnosis. We suggest application of diverse types of composition of intuitionistic fuzzy relations to this problem and we analyze their connection with the reasoning scheme which is based on a distance between Atanassov’s intuitionistic fuzzy sets.
