Możliwie wszechstronnej analizie biomorfologicznej poddano 5076 ryjówek (Sorex araneus L., Sorex minutus L. i Sorex caecutiens Laxmann), łowionych na terenie Białowieskiego Parku Narodowego w latach 1949-1958 (Tabela 1). W serii tej znaleziono 34 aktywne płciowo młode samice (Tabela 10).
