Abstract:

Aspergillus niger 17.02 produces an acid-stable a-amylase (5 days, 25°C) in culture medium containing soya-bean meal, corn steep liquor, water extract from bran wheat, pectins and mineral salts. After precipitation with ethanol, the enzyme was purified by FPLC on MONO S and MONO Q columns.
