Abstract:

Ultrastructural analysis revealed blurred sarcomere pattern. Myofibril arrangement in the major part of analyzed material was preserved and normal cardiomyocyte nuclei were observed (Figs.1,2). However, also nuclei showing features of laminopathy, characterized by corrugated nuclear envelope with numerous indentations were present. In some nuclei nuclear membrane was broken, and cell organelles were seen inside the nucleus (Fig.3)
