Description:

The photo depicts a group of people of different ages in festive clothes. They are posing for the photo in front of a large brick building and wooden door (to a barn?). The newlywed couple is sitting in the middle of the group: the woman in a white dress and a veil; the man in a suit with a bow in the lapel of his jacket. Some women are dressed in regional costumes. In the first row, half laying on the ground, there are three men with musical instruments ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
