The photo depicts a pair of young people standing in festive clothes in front of a fence and a small orchard. The man is dressed in an elegant suit with a tie; the woman is wearing a regional costume (a white blouse, a flower-patterned skirt, a waistcoat, a white bow at the waist) with a white headband in her hair. On the back of th photo there is the inscription: “The photo taken by an unknown photographer in 1947 in the village of Zabrzeg near Czechowice-Dziedzice, a portrait of the newlyweds Anna and Józef (...) in the traditional Silesian costume” ; 1947, Zabrzeg near Czechowice-Dziedzice ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village).
