Abstract:

Changes of number, biomass and reproductiveness of Eisenia fetida on compost of townwastes and other substrates were investigated. Also, the composition of the available mineralelements was determined in substrates with and without earthworms. Wormworked materialshad higher content of N, K and in most cases P, Ca and Na. For few month fresh compost oftown wastes was toxic for earthwarms.
