Abstract:

An 63-year-old patient with suspected inclusion myositis was examined. A biopsy ofquadriceps dexter was performed.Electron microscopy analysis revealed the presence of tubular inclusions (Figures 1, 2) andmyelin structures in the cytoplasm of muscle cells . Tubular inclusionswere also seen in the nuclei of muscle cells.Moreover, defects inheterochromatin were observed in numerous muscle fibers..
