Muscle segment examination in light & electon microscopy

Abstract:

A biopsy of pectoral muscle was taken and examined.Electron microscopy analysis of the pectoral muscle revealed the presence of ultrastructurallyunchanged muscle myofibers. Capillaries with features of endothelial necrosis wereobserved. Massive cellural infiltrates, mainly consisting of leukocytes, were visiblein the biopsy.The observed changes suggest features of vasculitis.
