Abstract:

A biopsy a from 53-year-old patient with suspected dystrophy was examined. Electron microscopy analysis reveald unchanged architecture of fibers and normal sarcomers structure. Small deposits of lipofuscin were observed submembranously and near nuclei. Fiber splitting occurs in some parts of the muscle. Fat droplets located under the sarcolemma were visible. Focally disrupture in sarcomers were observed. Microscopic image of vthe biopsy suggets nonspecfic myopathic changes.
