Description:

The photo depicts four boys posing for a photo in the middle of a country road. There are some farm buildings in the background. The inscription at the back of the photo says: “Stanisław (…) son of Józef, Stanisław (…) son of Alojzy, Jan (…), Stanisław (…). Year 1942 Wierzba”. According to its owner, these boys were friends from the village of Wierzba. The photo of boys on a country road was taken during the war by Tadeusz (…). The two first boys were later shot by the Germans ; 1942, Wierzba, com. Stary Zamość
