Description:

The photo depicts a group of men posing for photo in a front of dwelling houses. Sitting in the first row There are four men in suits sitting in the first row and seven men are standing behind them. All of them are in foresters’ uniforms. There is a large dog lying in front of them. According to its owner, the photo depicts the convention of the entire forest district in Brasław ; 1934 , Brasław (Belarus now) ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
