Muscle segment examination in light & electon microscopy

Abstract:

A biopsy from newborn baby was taken and examined. Electron microscopy analysis revealed fibers with unchanged cell membrane structure and preserved myofibrils architecture. Laying sub-membranous abnormal nuclei of muscle cells characterized by the separation of the outer and inner nuclear envelopes with the formation of vacuoles adjacent to nuclei were observed.
