Abstract:

An 6-year-old patient with suspected myopathy was examined. A biopsy of quadriceps sinister was performed. Electronmicroscopy analysis revealed normal structure of muscle fibers and nuclei with significant amount of connective tissue dividing muscle fibers into bundles . Folded myelin is visible in intramuscular nerves. The neuromuscular junction without secondary postsynaptic folds.
