Abstract:The article discusses problems in the functioning of Polish-Russian border courtsfor the Kiev and Bratslav Provinces in the 1870s, whose origins should be seen in Russia’s desire to use of the resource and demographic potential of these provinces in the development of the lands acquired at the expense of Turkey.
