Description:

The photo shows two women and a tall, slim man in a hat. One of the women wears an apron and a kerchief. The wall of a big, white house is visible in a background. Apparent from the description of the owner of the photo it was taken during the Nazi occupation in Andrychów and shows German farmers and the house occupied by them. On the left of the photo is the owner's mother, who served at these farmers ; The photo sent to the contest “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly „Nowa Wieś” (New village). The copy of the photo in the possession of the Institute of Archeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute of the History of Material Culture)
