The relief supplies were at that time distributed mainly by UNRRA, with – to a lesser degree – almost thirty foreign relief societies, in majority associated in the Council of Foreign Voluntary Agencies in Poland in 1946–1949. Foreign aid for Polish children and young people in 1945–1949 totalled about 120 million dollars, i.e. circa 50 billion zlotys (about 18 percent of annual state budged). The year 1945 initiated the foreign aid to Poland; in 1946 the generosity of foreign nations for Poland reached its peak. In 1947 a part of foreign organisations finished their activity, others restricted their help. The end of foreign charity donations was imposed by a political decision of the Communist authorities in Poland.}, title={Zagraniczna pomoc charytatywna dla dzieci i młodzieży w Polsce w latach 1945–1950}, type={Text}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl./Content/59724/PDF/WA303_78833_B155-Polska-T-11-2013_Juzwik.pdf}, keywords={aid the victims of war - Poland - 1945-, children - Care and support - Poland - 1945-, adolescents - care and support - Poland - 1945-, foreign relief, UNRRA}, }
