 abstract={The article is devoted to the conspiracy in the People’s Republic of Poland under Włady-sław Gomułka (1956–1970). It presents the activities of secret groups and organisations, including secret anti-system operations, such as distributing leaflets, anti-state inscriptions in public places, and anonymous letters. An attempt is also made to characterise the conspiracy of the time, taking into account its size, political sympathies, forms of activity, and people involved in it (age, education, political views, reasons for involvement). Most of the organisations and groups, as well as activities mentioned in the article (mainly leaflet actions), were described for the first time. Therefore, the study is based on archival materials collected in the Archives of the Institute of National Remembrance – reporting and information materials, selected operational files, characteristics of secret organisations, and analyses prepared for the Security Service.},
