@misc{, copyright={Rights Reserved - Free Access}, howpublished={online}, abstract={The monograph presents the history of Polish monolingual lexicography in the first half of the 20th century from a metalexicographic perspective. Its main part is the characteristics of over sixty dictionaries published in Poland for the first time in the period from 1900 to 1950. The dictionaries are arranged according to the general typology of lexicographic works: general dictionaries, foreign words dictionaries, spelling dictionaries, orthoepic dictionaries, others. Each dictionary is covered in its own separate chapter. The author first provides information about the publishers and authors, as well as characterizes a given publication in editorial terms, and describes the conclusions from the analysis of the macro- and microstructure of a given dictionary. Finally, the author includes information about the reception of the dictionary in contemporary times and evidence of its possible later use in linguistic research and its place in the history of Polish lexicography. A separate chapter is devoted to the consideration of the range of lexicographic options of this period from the perspective of the book market. The monograph is complemented by a chapter describing the development of Polish lexicography under a hypothetical scenario. The author contemplates what would have happened had World War II not broke out and the history of Poland and the world had not changed as it did.}, type={Text}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl./Content/244031/Polska_leksykografia_jednojezyczna_pierwszej_polowy_XX_wieku_calosc.pdf}, }
