The concept of equitable access to healthcare was outlined and difficulties faced by its realisation in conditions of the commodification of healthcare were indicated. The impact of the conception of social determinants of health and social gradient in health on thinking about health justice was discussed. The theoretical grounding of those ideas in the capability approach, which assigns intrinsic value to health and perceives health as an essential element of full human flourishing, was shown. The limited reception of the conception of social determinants of health and social gradient in health policy documents was considered.}, title={From Equal Access to Health Equity}, type={Text}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl./Content/243755/wir_2022_4_197_063_075.pdf}, keywords={healthcare, health, equal access, health equity, health justice}, }
