 abstract={The article presents changes in agricultural land management in Poland from 2000 to 2018, in statistical terms, with particular emphasis on 2016–2018, mainly in the field of market and non-market private land trade; acquisition of agricultural property by foreigners and management of the Agricultural Property Stock of the State Treasury. The 2016 caesura was adopted as the year of introduction of the act on suspension of sale of the treasury’s agricultural property, which, as assumed in the hypothesis, has limited the intensity of land turnover. The results of the analysis confirm this, because in the years studied the number of sale and purchase transactions of agricultural real estate decreased, the increase in agricultural land prices on the private market was halted, the intensity of land acquisition by foreigners decreased, the intensity of the sale of land from the Agricultural Property Stock of the State Treasury dropped dramatically, the share of market transactions for non-market transactions decreased significantly, land prices obtained by ANR/KOWR for arable land dropped and there was no expected increase in rents.},
