 abstract={The article is devoted to the Polish edition of historical sources to the history of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth from 1667 to 1710, Epistolae historico-familiares (vols 1–3, Brunsbergae 1709–1711; vol. 4, Vra-tislaviae 1761). The article’s author discusses the primary content of the work, the quality of the editorial work and the source value of the material contained in it. Particular attention is paid to the fi ctional letters and accounts of Andrzej Chryzostom Załuski, created by him for the purposes of the publication. Based on the scholarly literature and the surviving fragmentary working versions of the work, the indications of their preparation by Załuski are shown.},
