 abstract={The article presents the question of the attitude of the Catholic press in interwar Poland towards the socio-political influence of Freemasonry, both at home and abroad. Historical reminiscences were taken into account, as well as the alleged influence of Freemasons on politics, education, the secularisation of society, and intra-state conflicts in Mexico and Spain, in which significant influences of Freemasonic activity were seen. As a reference point, selected Catholic periodicals with high circulation were used, where socio-political issues were usually covered.},
