 abstract={This article aims to present the work of Polish military intelligence in the era of détente. To illustrate the conditions in which it functioned, the case of the agent Roseline Gadek alias ‘Rose’ was chosen, who worked at the Bibliothèque Centrale du Centre de Docu mentation de l’Armement – Central Library of the Armament Documentation Centre ( CEDOCAR) in Paris and borrowed from the Library the documents needed by the Polish Ministry of Defence. In 1979, this led to the arrest of two officers working for Polish military intelligence.},
