The crucial element of this strategy was the transfer of the majority of the Commonwealth soldiers to Russian service and contingency planning for a possible war with the Kingdom of Prussiaon the remaining territory of Poland-Lithuania. These plans demonstrate St Petersburg’s disregard for the political costs of the achievement of its aims, which included the possibility of a Polish uprising.}, type={Text}, title={Drugi rozbiór i powstanie kościuszkowskie w świetle korespondencji Ottona Heinricha Igelströma}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl./Content/241945/WA303_278331_A52-KH-R-131-1_Anipiarkou.pdf}, volume={131}, number={1}, journal={Kwartalnik Historyczny}, publisher={Instytut Historii im.
