Ramollitio corporis callosi /necrosis electivu/ - malformatio septi pellucidi et formicis.Autopsy examination of 74-year-old patient was performed. Neuropathological evaluation in light microscopy was based on brain paraffin sections stained with Hematoxylin-eosin and orange G.The entire anterior part of the corpus callosum underwent demyelination, which progressed to the semioral center of both hemispheres. From the corpus callosum there was a translucent septum, which did not connect with the fornix columns, but hung down to the two connected anterior horns below it in the form of a papillary extension with a nerve fiber tissue. From this papilla there were two outgrowths to which the vascular plexus was attached. The vessels of the white matter were markedly atherosclerotic. A large old lacuna filled with flaccid connective tissue was visible in the putamen. Severely dilated spaces were present alongside other vessels. Diffuse cellular atrophy was noted in the cortex.}, type={Text}, title={File of histopathological evaluation of nervous system diseases (1964) - nr 177/64}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl./Content/206378/PDF/177_64.pdf}, keywords={Vascular disaeses - encephalomacia}, }
