The method exploits the energy retention property peculiar to the Routh reduction method as well as the interpolation property of L2- optimal approximations. The method can be adapted to the case in which the steady-state response to step inputs must also be preserved. Two examples taken from the relevant literature show that the suggested techniques may lead to approximations that are not worse than those afforded by alternative techniques.}, type={Text}, title={L2-optimal routh-type model reduction}, URL={http://rcin.org.pl./Content/144842/PDF/RB-2015-30.pdf}, keywords={Model reduction, Redukcja modelu, L2 norm, Norma l2, Routh approximation, Przybliżenie routha, Impulse-response energy, Asymptotic response, Odpowiedź asymptotyczna, Energia odpowiedzi impulsowej}, }
