The following subjectswere raised: somatic embryogenesis, haploid production, intergenetic hybridisation and transformation. Upon conclusion of all the results published to date,we may say that the progress of biotechnology in the case of rye is very limitedin comparison to other cereals. However, a lot of work and efforts were involved to obtain the aforementioned result.
